Anyone who knows me knows I'm a chai latte girl! And this chai spiced oatmeal tastes like your favourite chai tea latte in warm creamy oats. I love getting creative with oatmeal, and this one definitely hits home with it's sweet, warm and spiced flavoured.
Heat pot on medium heat. Add milk, oats, chai spice powder, salt, nutmeg and almond butter and cook until oats are soft and thickened (may vary depending on desired consistency) ~ 3-5 minutes, stirring often. (Note- for large flake oats cook for longer until oats are soft)
Pour into a bowl and top with optional maple syrup and other desired toppings. Enjoy warm!
