Frequently Asked Questions

Expand All:

Can I make this mousse ahead of time?

Absolutely! This mousse actually tastes better after chilling for at least an hour or two, it firms up and the flavours meld together beautifully. You can also make it the night before a dinner party for an easy, stress-free dessert.

Can I swap the silken tofu for something else?

Yes! If you don’t have silken tofu or prefer a different texture, you can try avocado or coconut cream. Keep in mind that this may change the flavour slightly and make it a bit less protein-packed.

How can I make it extra fancy for guests?

Top it with chopped almonds, cacao nibs, vegan whipped cream, or a drizzle of melted dark chocolate. Even a pinch of flaky sea salt brings out the chocolate flavour and adds that wow factor.

Can I use a different nut butter instead of almond butter?

Yes! Cashew butter, peanut butter, or sunflower seed butter work well too. Just make sure it’s smooth for the best creamy texture.
