My spiced mixed nuts has a perfect combination of smokey and earthy flavours and makes a great mid afternoon snack. This recipe is so versatile, you can easily change up the nuts and seasonings to suit your preferences. (Gluten free and Vegan)
On a cast iron skillet, heat the sesame oil on medium.
Roast the asafoetida, paprika, cumin, chili powder for 1 mins. Add nuts and mix until coated.
Add maple syrup, sriracha, and nutritional yeast, roast until nuts brown, ~3 mins.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Enjoy!
